2023 Pittsburgh Steelers Team Needs 1.0 - Behind the Steel Curtain 

 

The Pittsburgh Steelers will begin training camp July 27th, 2023. How do things look for the 2023 Pittsburgh Steelers? 


Well, they did finish 2022 winning 7 of their last 9 games - narrowly missing the playoffs.    Some believe The Steelers had the best 2023 draft of the entire NFL.   Their off-season free agent signings filled needs.  This appears to be a team on the upswing.    Some even believe this may be a Super Bowl team.

 

Personally, I think that's stretching it a bit.  How the 2023 Steelers perform is largely based on the man in the middle above - Kenny Pickett.  Will he progress?  Will he regress?  Only time will tell.

 

I certainly believe The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed in the right direction.  There is plenty of reason for optimism.  I don't think they're there yet, though.  For 2023, I believe this is a 9, maybe 10 win team, tops.   Playoffs are possible, but I predict an early exit.  As a Steeler fan I certainly hope the team does better than that.  


Regular season begins Sept. 10th, in Pittsburgh, against the San Francisco 49ers.

Favorite Guitar Solos

The 5 Funniest Movies of all Time

A friend of mine from the Google + Movies community named Annette Rodgers recently posted a clip from a 1979 movie.  I hadn't seen it in years.  After watching the clip it started coming back to me how funny the film was.  This was a movie that made me laugh hysterically.  It got me thinking - what other films made me laugh that hard?   And laugh that often?   Sometimes a movie will have a few good bits that are mildly funny. The Ten Greatest Bands of all Time (updated version)

On November 24 of 2017 I published an article called "The Ten Greatest Bands of all Time".   I had thought about it for a good while and came up with this list: 1. Led Zeppelin 2. The Beatles 3. The Rolling Stones 4. The Who 5. Pink Floyd 6. Rush 7. Nirvana 8. Journey 9. Foreigner 10. Motley Crue After completing the list, I had a feeling I may have missed a band or two.  I always encourage feedback to anything I write about because I really enjoy the opinions of other people.   Fortunately,  I received plenty of feedback on this one.  It turned out I was right - I did miss a few bands.  So, I gave it some more thought and now I would like to update the list.  So, here we go - my updated version of the ten greatest bands of all time. 1.
